While HeroCare Connect™ is widely known for helping veterans receive timely specialty care, the program also serves eligible spouses, dependents, and family members of active-duty personnel, retirees, National Guard members, and Reservists.

Through a partnership between Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Cooper Norcross Health, HeroCare Connect helps military families navigate the healthcare system and connect with the specialists they need.

Making Healthcare Easier for Military Families

Finding the right specialist, scheduling appointments, and managing insurance requirements can be frustrating and time-consuming. HeroCare Connect simplifies the process through a free, one-call concierge healthcare service.

A dedicated Patient Service Specialist/Navigator can assist with:

• Coordinating appointments with physicians across more than 75 medical specialties
• Scheduling necessary tests and follow-up appointments
• Helping manage referrals, authorizations, and insurance paperwork
• Making sure important reports and records reach the appropriate healthcare providers
• Guiding patients through the process so they can focus on their health rather than administrative details.

Access to a Wide Range of Specialty Care

Whether a family member needs to see a cardiologist, neurologist, orthopedist, gastroenterologist, or another specialist, HeroCare Connect can help coordinate care through Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Cooper Norcross Health.

The program works with TRICARE, VA Community Care, Medicare, and private insurance, helping eligible patients access specialty services throughout Southern New Jersey.
