Browns Mills, NJ — Please join us on Saturday, October 18 for the Warrior Bike Tour, hosted by HeroCare Connect and Military Support Alliance of New Jersey. This premier cycling event is open to all ages and levels of experience, including a 9 mile family fun ride, an intermediate 26 mile route, a 62 mile advanced rider route, and opportunities for non-rider fundraising participants. Proceeds will go to the active duty service members and their families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) who are currently experiencing food insecurity, financial strain, or mental health related challenges.
The event will begin and end at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center campus, the start time will vary depending the route. It is not a race. The 62 mile ride, for advanced riders, starts at 8:00a.m., and includes a route around the exterior of JB MDL. The 26 mile ride for intermediate riders, starts at 9:30a.m., and includes a route around the exterior of Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force Base. A 9 mile family fun ride starts at 11:00a.m. with a loop through Pemberton Township.
This fun-filled event will include rest areas along the route as well as a celebration with food and music at the finish line. The registration deadline for this event is Thursday, October 16 at 5:00p.m. Riders must register in advance, to learn more and register, click here.
