Lace up and join us for the 4th annual Always Ready 5K, sponsored in part by HeroCare Connect. This exciting event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 in Cape May. The course of the race will run through scenic Cape May and flow along the harbor of U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May therefore creating a unique and engaging experience between the Coast Guard and the community.
Race Day Timeline:
- 7:00am - 8:50am Race Day Pick Up & Registration
- 9:00am Always Ready 5K Race Start
- 9:05am Always Ready K9 Start
- 11:00am Finish and Awards
After you reach the finish line, dock yourself at the Cape May Brewing Co. tent for your after-run Always Ready Pale Ale - Cape May Brewing Co.’s beer that salutes the Coast Guard community.

Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just looking for a family-friendly outdoor activity, the Warrior Bike Tour is the perfect way to spend a crisp October morning. This annual event brings together riders, families, and supporters to celebrate community, fitness, and gratitude for our nation’s heroes.
Participants can choose from three scenic routes:
- 9-mile Family Fun Ride – perfect for beginners and young riders.
- 25-mile Intermediate Route – a rewarding ride for recreational cyclists.
- 62-mile Advanced Route – a challenging course for experienced riders.
Beyond the ride, enjoy a festive atmosphere with food, music, and camaraderie. Proceeds benefit the men and women serving at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, ensuring your ride makes an impact beyond the finish line.
Not a rider? You can still support the cause by making a donation or cheering on the cyclists throughout the day.
